Skoda is the Czech car manufacturer that until recently were just making economy cars. However in recent years a huge marketing campaign and a series of redesigned cars turned Skoda away from the economical look to a more sporty and luxurious direction. Some argue that today Skoda can compete with the likes of BMW and Mercedes with their Octavia and Superb models.
