Browsing eBay and other websites I soon came to discover there are people who have restored Jeeps, Hummers, and other military automobiles. Many of the war veterans seem to have kept their army vehicles after serving time. One thing is for sure, they are built tough!

“This is an original WWII 43 Ford GPW (matching body and frame numbers) but is powered with a Ford 289 V8 engine and T-90 Transmission. Toping off this power horse with a Warn overdrive.
This “retro mod” has the original looks and a more modern ride, with power brakes. The jeep runs quiet. You would never know a V8 was under the hood unless you opened it up.
The “bustle basket” and “front wire cutter” are recent new additions.
Everything that is seen in the pictures that are on the jeep are included in the auction. WWII net, Extra jerricans, original WWII ammo crate, etc…”
