The iPhone is a full-screen iPod, smart phone and Internet with various iPhone auto accessories. For me the iPhone is actually a rare example of such a cutting edge mobile phone being initially intended for a North American release first. If anything, iPhone is a reaction to the industry, which is increasingly converging the applications in products.

I think the iPhone is less a smart phone and more of a smallish tablet PC. The iPhone is a combination of a mobile phone and small wireless PC with some basic functionality. Accordingly, the iPhone is likely to serve more as an extension of the iPod brand than as a separate brand.

The iPhone is a touch screen music phone, which will be available in the middle of the year in the USA. Apple’s iPhone is a touch-screen-controlled cell phone device that plays music, surfs the web and delivers voicemail and e-mail. Of all the tech gadgets ever launched, the iPhone is not simply one of the most eagerly awaited - but quite possibly the most significant release for years.
