Holden is the all-Australian car company first inspired by James Alexander Holden. The name “Holden” dates back to the 1850s with J.A. Holden’s leather and saddlery business. However it wasn’t until 1948 that Holden became a car manufacturer. Today, Holden makes some nice sports cars such as the Monaro series.
