Jaguar is the British luxury-sport car manufacturer founded in 1935. Jaguar’s history can be traced earlier to 1922, when two young enthusiasts established a company to make sidecars. However it wasn’t until 1935, when William Heynes joined the company as chief engineer that the company names was changed to Jaguar. Today Jaguar is a status icon responsible for producing some of the slickest and fastest sports cars.
