Audi

Audi is what I consider to be part of the “German Big Three.” Much like the American big three – Ford, Dodge and GM, the Germans are Audi, BMW and Mercedes. This puts Audi in the league of luxury autobahn burners that are recognized the world over. The Audi badge – the ‘Four Rings’ symbolizes the 1932 merger of the four independent motor-vehicle manufacturers: Audi, DKW, Horch and Wanderer. Together with the NSU brand, which joined in 1969, these companies are the roots of the present-day AUDI AG.
