Saleen

Saleen was started by a former racing driver Steve Saleen in 1983. Saleen creates high performance sports cars for true enthusiasts. Saleen’s line up includes the S7 supercar as well as the likes of the Saleen Mustang and the N20 Focus.

Saab

Saab is the Swedish carmaker that has an interesting history. If you know what the SAAB acronym stands for, you will know that one of the ‘A’s in SAAB stands for ‘Airplane’. This is because SAAB first started out making high performance airplanes before World War 2 in 1937. In fact, the first SAAB car was built by 17 aeronautical engineers. Today SAAB makes some nice looking sports cars such as the SAAB 9-3 Sport Sedan and Convertible.

Renault

Porsche

Pontiac

Peugeot

Peugeot is the French carmaker that first started out by making bicycles in the late 1800s. However in 1926 the car company separated from the bike company and it is evident which of the two became more popular. Today Peugeot produces some cool looking cars such as the 407 Coupe.

Panoz

Panoz was founded by Daniel Panoz in order to show that high performance sports cars such as those manufactured in Europe, could also be competitively manufactured in the States. The Panoz LMP proved that it could compete with European cars in motor sports.

Pagani

Opel

Nissan

Nissan is the Japanese carmaker that actually began with the name “Datsun”. Some changes in management on December 26, 1933 saw the Tobata Casting Co., Ltd taken over and the name Nissan was adopted on June 1, 1934. Today Nissan is a popular manufacturer with some nice sports cars such as the 350Z and other sporty versions of the Sentra, Altima and Maxima. However Nissan’s flagship sports car is the Skyline.
